2018年，交城被认定为“国家外贸转型升级基地（新型肥料）”。2022年，被认定为市级“硝基复合肥专业镇”。2024年，中国氮肥工业协会授予“交城·中国钙都（硝基肥）”荣誉称号。
发展至今，交城县注册登记肥料生产企业32户，涵盖硝酸铵钙、硝酸钙、硝酸钾、硝酸镁、硝酸钙镁、硝酸钾钙、硝酸铁、硝酸铜、大量元素水溶肥、中量元素水溶肥、中量元素液体肥、氯化镁、外加剂、氮钾复合肥、无水硫酸镁、钙盐、镁盐、无水钙盐等近百个品种，其中硝酸铵钙、硝酸钙产品国内市场份额占到80%。硝酸铵钙等25种主导产品远销俄罗斯、南非、西班牙、法国等70多个国家和地区，出口供货量占全国出口量的90%，为国家出口贸易创汇做出了积极贡献。
交城县硝基复合肥主导产品有硝酸钙、硝酸铵钙、硝酸镁、硝酸钾等35个品种，是水溶性极强的中量元素肥，肥料转化率达80%，远高于尿素的30%，肥效受到国家农业部的高度认可。
In 2018, Jiaocheng was recognized as a "National Foreign Trade Transformation and Upgrading Base (New Fertilizer)". In 2022, it was recognized as a municipal-level "Nitro Compound Fertilizer Professional Town". In 2024, the China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association awarded the honorary title of "Jiaocheng China Calcium Capital (Nitro Fertilizer)".
Up to now, there are 32 registered fertilizer production enterprises in Jiaocheng County, covering nearly 100 varieties of calcium ammonium nitrate, calcium nitrate, potassium nitrate, magnesium nitrate, calcium magnesium nitrate, calcium potassium nitrate, iron nitrate, copper nitrate, water-soluble fertilizer of large elements, water-soluble fertilizer of medium elements, liquid fertilizer of medium elements, magnesium chloride, admixtures, nitrogen and potassium compound fertilizer, anhydrous magnesium sulfate, calcium salt, magnesium salt, anhydrous calcium salt, etc., of which calcium ammonium nitrate and calcium nitrate products account for 80% of the domestic market share. 25 kinds of leading products such as ammonium calcium nitrate are exported to more than 70 countries and regions such as Russia, South Africa, Spain, France, etc., and the export supply accounts for 90% of the country's export volume, making a positive contribution to the country's export trade and foreign exchange.
Jiaocheng County nitro compound fertilizer leading products are calcium nitrate, ammonium calcium nitrate, magnesium nitrate, potassium nitrate and other 35 varieties, is a water-soluble medium element fertilizer, fertilizer conversion rate of 80%, much higher than urea 30%, fertilizer efficiency by the Ministry of agriculture highly recognized.
